Tim Cook invites you to donate to the Red Cross to assist LA wildfire recovery

Apple recently made a donation to assist with LA wildfire recovery efforts, and is now inviting customers to do the same.Those based in the US can make a donation to the American Red Cross’s Southern California Wildfires Relief fund though the App Store or Apple Music apps … CEO Tim Cook today tweeted the invitation.The donation link only appears to work if your Apple ID is a US one.

Cook last week described the fires as “heartbreaking” as he announced Apple’s donation.reports that 25 people have been killed by the extended wildfires, with fears that strong winds are again about to make things worse.Apple’s apps invite you to donate your choice of sum between $5 and $200, with the full amount being passed to the Red Cross.
