New beta software has just been released.Apple has shipped developer beta 3 across its various forthcoming updates, including visionOS 2.5, tvOS 18.5, and more.Beta 3 of visionOS 2.5 and more now available for developers Apple is gearing up to unveil its major new software versions at WWDC in June, including iOS 19, macOS 16, and more.
But for now, the company is still testing forthcoming updates for the current software versions.That currently-in-beta software includes: iOS 18.5 iPadOS 18.5 macOS Sequoia 15.5 visionOS 2.5 watchOS 11.5 tvOS 18.5 HomePod 18.5 So far in the beta cycle, there are very few noteworthy changes that have been discovered in these updates.Apple seems to be primarily offering bug fixes and stability improvements, alongside other small feature tweaks.
However, it’s not entirely uncommon for new features to only present themselves close to the public release.Some changes can easily go unnoticed during beta testing, then Apple exposes them in its software release notes at the public launch.In any case, today’s beta 3 updates bring us closer to that public launch, which should arrive some time in May.
