Lee Cronin's The Mummy Gets Official Title, Release Date

From Atomic Monster and Blumhouse for New Line, the film, ‘will be unlike any Mummy movie you ever laid eyeballs on,’ hitting theaters April 17, 2026.
, previously known as a Cronin mystery film, is now officially titled.The project is set for an April 17, 2026 release.

Blumhouse took to Instagram to reveal the news, stating, “Something terrifying will be unleashed in 2026.” Lee Cronin () will direct and write the film.Atomic Monster, Blumhouse, and Doppelgängers produce for New Line.Plot details remain under wraps.

"This will be unlike any Mummy movie you ever laid eyeballs on before,” said Cronin.“I'm digging deep into the earth to raise something very ancient and very frightening.” James Wan, Jason Blum, and John Keville produce.Michael Clear, Judson Scott, and Macdara Kelleher executive producer.
