Amazon MGM Studios Secures James Bond Franchise Rights

We are shaken and stirred… the studio will gain creative control of future productions, while longtime franchise custodians Michael G.Wilson and Barbara Broccoli step down as producers but retain the ‘co-owner’ title.

Amazon MGM Studios, Michael G.Wilson, and Barbara Broccoli have announced a new joint venture to house the intellectual property rights.Under the terms of the transaction, Amazon MGM Studios will gain creative control of future productions; Wilson and Broccoli will remain co-owners of the franchise.
