Users complain about ChatGPT down OpenAI has confirmed the outage on its website.According to the company, the problem was caused by an “upstream provider” and the team is already working on a fix.However, there is no prediction as to when GPT will be back online.
In addition to ChatGPT, the OpenAI API and the Sora video generation platform are also down.“We are currently experiencing an issue with high error rates on ChatGPT, the API, and Sora.[…] This issue is caused by an upstream provider.
[…] We are continuing to work on a fix for this issue,” OpenAI says.This is not the first time this month that ChatGPT has been down.The platform suffered another outage on December 11, the same day Apple launched iOS 18.2 with GPT integrated into Siri.
