Some surprise changes are coming to Sky users next month, affecting those using the firm's online NOW platform.It's just been confirmed that the popular streaming service is getting a whole new look along with bonus features which Sky hopes will help customers get to the content they want to watch faster.The changes are being implemented due to NOW moving from its current system over to NBCUniversal’s technology.“Migrating to NBCU’s Global Streaming Platform means NOW members will benefit from the ongoing delivery of customer features that enhance the viewing experience and leverage the latest technologies and innovations across the platform," Carli Kerr, Managing Director of NOW & Sky Content explained.Sky has confirmed that the NOW branding and name will remain unchanged but the switch should help deliver a "world class streaming experience" for users.Sky introduce new streaming TV 'Sky Glass' in 2021 For those not aware, NOW is beamed to TVs using the web and is available via shorter contracts or even paying monthly.That means there's no need for a dish or to sign up for long 12 or 24-month deals.
