Sky TV users face annoying change tomorrow - check now to see if you're affected

Sadly, that's now changing with Sky Cinema users being switched to the Paramount+ "Basic" tier."Sky Cinema customers are going to be moved to the Paramount + Basic (with ads) plan from 21 January.You might notice this change on your account from 16 February," Sky confirmed in an update.Although there's still no extra fee to pay (Paramount+ Basic usually costs £4.99 per month), the plan does come with adverts included.It's similar to both Netflix and Disney+ who both offer cheaper subscriptions in return for watching some sponsored content.Sky introduce new streaming TV 'Sky Glass' in 2021 "Paramount+ Basic (with ads) is available to Sky TV customers with Sky Cinema at no extra cost," Sky said in a post on its community pages."If you're already a Paramount+ Customer paying with Sky Marketplace, then adding Sky Cinema onto your TV package, you'll automatically be moved to the Paramount+ Basic (with ads)."We’ll switch this over for you at the end of your current billing period (we can't do it sooner and can't refund you for any time left on your Paramount+ Standard subscription), so you don’t continue paying monthly with Sky Marketplace.
