(3DPrint.com PRO is available only to subscribers)Metal laser powder bed fusion (LPBF) manufacturer Velo3D has signed an Intellectual Property License and Support Services Agreement with leading private launch firm SpaceX.The agreement grants SpaceX a non-exclusive license to the entirety of Velo3D’s additive manufacturing technologies.SpaceX will pay $5 million for the deal, with an additional $3 million for support services related to the contract.
