Previously, even if you tapped on a video within the Threads app to view it in full screen, the app wouldn’t rotate for horizontal videos.The latest update to the Threads app changes this, allowing users to watch videos and even view photos in landscape.“You found it,” the official Threads account replied to a user.

Mosseri also revealed that Threads will soon allow users to search for posts within a specific date range.More recently, Meta announced that it will start showing ads to users on Threads next year.The move is a result of the platform’s significant growth since it was launched – Threads now has over 200 million monthly active users.
