Checking out all of the latest gadgets and gizmos is a massive perk of my job here at Express.co.uk.However, it does mean packing endless suitcases and booking yet another taxi to the airport, with tech launches happening throughout the entire year and all over the world. From hitting the show floor at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, searching for new tech at CES in Las Vegas, to heading to California to bring you my first impressions of the next iPhone, there's a lot of time spent away from home, sitting on planes and checking into hotel rooms. To make sure I stay online and fully connected, I usually head away with a bag full of travel adapters, cables and plugs but the latest device I've just been checking out ends the need for all that faff.
It's called the 3-in-1 Travel Charger and it's been created by the power experts at Mophie. This clever one-stop-shop solution folds neatly into its provided travel bag and even comes with interchangeable plugs that cover you no matter where in the world you happen to end up.Having arrived at my hotel in New York - on a recent launch event - I just took the 3-in-1 Travel Charger out of its bag, unfolded it like origami, popped on the US two-pin plug and switched it on.SUBSCRIBE Invalid emailWe use your sign-up to provide content in ways you've consented to and to improve our understanding of you. This may include adverts from us and 3rd parties based on our understanding.

For example, the maximum charging speed for the iPhone is around 30W but the Mophie dock can only get to a maximum of 15W.At £149 it's also pretty expensive but there is a UK plug included, so this doesn't just need to be a charger for when you are on the move as it works just as well at home.Yes, you can buy a few cheap adapters on Amazon that will do the same job for a fraction of the price, but if you are after a simplified charging experience and spend a lot of time away, this really is a great one-stop-shop solution for your travel charging nightmares.
