While Johansson’s character is focused on preserving NASA’s public image, Tatum plays the role of Cole Davis, launch director for the Apollo 11 mission.It his job to try and get the project on track.Fly Me to the Moon is Apple’s most recent film to receive a wide theatrical release, after Wolfs was pulled from theaters at the last moment.
The film was not well received at the box office, grossing a little over $40 million worldwide.The film had an estimated budget circa $100 million.However, it may find popularity on Apple TV+, as a fun and easy watch during the holiday break.
