The 24th edition of MONSTRA wrapped up last week, revealing a roundup of the event’s best films and dates for next year’s event.by Alexandra Ramires and Laura Gonçalves won the Vasco Granja - SPA Grand Prize.
In international feature films, by the Quay brothers won the RTP Feature Film Grand Prix.In the short films category, by Nicolas Keppens won the Grand Prix Curtas - RTP.The film explores themes such as solidarity and insecurity in adulthood and was nominated for an Oscar for Best Animated Short Film. Estonian director Priit Pärn and Manuel Matos Barbosa, a member of CINANIMA's curatorial board, were honored with a Career Award.
