His estranged wife Amanda Palmer has also been named in the suit, with claims she knew of and was complicit in Gaiman’s abusive behavior.“Gaiman engaged in many nonconsensual sex acts with Scarlett,” the suit states.“Those acts were abusive and demeaning… Scarlett endured those acts because she would lose her job, housing, and promised future career support if she did not.” Gaiman previously refuted Pavlovich’s allegations in his blog, stating, “I have never engaged in non-consensual sexual activity with anyone.
Ever.”
Fallout from the growing scandal includes after two seasons; cancelation of a stage production of the “Coraline” musical; Season 3 of Prime Video’s now squished into one 90-minute episode; a production pause on Disney’s feature adaptation of “The Graveyard Book;” getting dropped by publisher Dark Horse Comics; and cancelation after one season of Netflix’s series.The upcoming Prime Video series has not yet been affected.
